In many nations around the world it is the army that has allowed each country to become all that it is today. Imagine your life without all of the freedoms you love so deeply. Can you imagine living in a country where you could not attend school, could not get a job if you wanted one, or where you did not have the freedom to believe anything you wanted to? I cannot imagine a life without the freedoms and privileges that I have come to count on. And when I stop to think about it, the people serving in the army deserve a lot of my thanksgiving for the life I enjoy.
