A Private Caribbean Island Resort In The British Virgin Islands
Guana Island covers 850 acres and is one of the largest of the British Virgin Islands. It is very much a private island resort, a real getaway. Youll get there by boat having been greeted at the Airport at Beef Island and transferred to the dock for a short ride on the islands own boat where you will be liberally supplied with cold beers or bottled water.
After arriving on Guana Island you ride up to the Great House on Golf Carts , and after familiarization of the local rules you are taken to your room, which is one of only fifteen rooms in white stone cottages, so the maximum number of guests at any one time would be thirty. Thirty guests in over eight hundred acres is not what anyone could call crowded but then again one has to assume that anyone on a private island honeymoon or wanting a total getaway would be looking for.
