Brian Brohm was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 23, 1985. He grew up in this area dreaming of playing for the University of Louisville, and before he knew it this dream had become a reality. From a very early age it was evident to everybody around him that a future in football looked bright. Not only did he have the body of a quarterback, but his mind has always been up to par as well.
During his high school days Brohm set the nation on fire with his gaudy passing numbers. For his career, Brohm threw for 10,579 yards and 119 touchdowns. To go along with these individual statistics he also led his high school, Trinity, to the state title in 2001, 2002, and 2003. While a junior in high school Brohm was starting to get national attention for his accolades on the football field. It was that year that he got his first taste of the big time when he was featured on the front of Sports Illustrated. As a senior, Brohm was named Mr. Football in the state of Kentucky, and also Gatorade player of the year; these are two top notch achievements.
