In every relationship, it is important that couples do things together to keep a closeness and intimacy in the emotional aspect of their partnership. It is great to go on a date where you buy your sweetheart a bottle of champagne that costs more than your cable bill for that month, or where the meal costs more than a weeks worth of groceries. However, while it is fun to splurge on an expensive, fancy, and romantic date, for most couples, this is not feasible financially to pull of more than a couple of times a month, if not less frequently.
