With the onset of many lung related diseases like cancer, we cant help but wonder about how polluted the air we may be breathing at this very moment. Long gone were the days when we savor the fresh air around us. Currently especially in the urban areas, all we smell is the stink of the car exhausts, the stench of smoke and other foul smelling odors all contributing to air pollution that is becoming worse and worse as the days wear on. We might think that we can escape from this problem when we get into the comfort of our homes or offices, away from these bad air elements. But think again, there have been studies indicating that indoor pollution is even considered as one of the five top ranking hazards to public health.
Because we spend a majority of our time in our homes, in our offices or at school, it is understandable why air can easily be contaminated causing a variety of allergies and health related diseases. We, human beings are carriers of these bacteria and viruses and we pass them on to other people who contract these allergies or diseases especially when their immune system is weak.
