Lately, weekends have been a thing of the past. Ive been putting in extra time with my husband, trying to get our new business opportunity up and running. All of our extra fun time has gone into keeping the yard up, pruning the hedges and keeping the garden up to par. Its been difficult trying to keep our schedules together and to have any time we can actually call free. In order to restore sanity in our marriage, weve decided that weekends are going to be just for us. Weve decided to take breaks on the weekends so that our business lives dont end up being a seven-day per week proposition. Our lives had become just one chore after another and we decided that if we didnt actually plan for a weekend off, we would never really get one by accident.
When we took our first weekend away from home, we thought a scenic highway drive would be fun. We thought it would be nice to stay at small, quaint places like the bed and breakfasts we had always read about.
