Since its beginnings in 1924, the venerable Daily Word magazine from Unity has offered spiritual enrichment to people of all faiths. Daily Word now has the distinction of being the oldest continually published daily inspirational magazine in the nation. It is published in seven languages and mailed to more than 1 million readers in 175 countries.
Unity is a trans-denominational organization based in Missouri whose goal is to help people apply positive spiritual principles to their daily lives.
In the 1960s, Unity began airing “The Word,” televised readings of spiritual messages performed by celebrities. They continued through 1992. Today, Daily Word has established a presence in a new medium: the Internet.
