Taking the time to learn your trade is essential. Do the research and more importantly take action on what you learn. There is no point in gaining the knowledge if you are not going to put it into good use. When you buy an e-book, dont just let it sit and gather dust on your digital book shelf, if you download software, integrate it as soon as possible.
But even when you do the above there will still be times when some things just seem beyond your reach or understanding.
