Looking for the definition of what the term BBW means?
This definition may seem on the surface to be simplistic but to a plus size woman this isn’t always necessarily so. The term bbw is very vague. I receive many questions from plus size women on my bbw dating website, asking, am I a bbw? The complexity of replying back to this question is difficult because like beauty, it is the eye of the beholder. If several people were to see what this person actually looks like you might get several different replies if she is a bbw or not a bbw.
There is no true barometer regarding where the scale of being a bbw begins. Is a bbw, a size 14 or above? I am not a big advocate of putting labels on any group of people. Unfortunately, society does not see it this way. You are judged by the car you drive, the job you have, your skin color, etc — In reality, all woman are beautiful, big or small. A BBW may come in many shapes and sizes but no one is better than another. After all this has been said and if you are still wondering if you are a bbw, you probably are a bbw if you see yourself as overweight. Lets leave it at that.
