PC Gaming has definitely taken some giant steps forward. Initially, you had to buy software for your computer in order to be able to enjoy them. This is because the speed of the internet was much slower back then than what most of us are used to experiencing today when things open in an instant.
These types of PC games came on a disk and you had to install them on the computer and if you had too many on there it could affect your ability to have enough memory for everything else. The games were good though and the graphics definitely interesting enough to keep people playing them. I can remember buying both Scrabble and Yahtzee for my PC back then.
