Some Very Good Reasons For Visiting Desroches Island Lodge In The Seychelles
Having visited the Seychelles more than once I still am completely bowled over by the colour contrasts beweeen the tropical greens, the talcum powder sand, and the turquoises, blues, and pale greens of the sea, and Desroches Island Lodge did not disappoint.
The flight to Desroches Island Lodge takes about an hour from Mahe, and the approach to the island runway is so spectacular, with what seems like a never ending beach.
The lodge itself is tucked in at the side of the beach amid the coconut trees, and is small and beautiful.
My first good reason is that there isn’t a telephone or television in my room, so I have at last escaped the 21st century.
