Adobe Photoshop is an editing tool for images, which can run on various operating systems. Developed by Adobe Systems, Photoshop was initially launched in 1988, and is currently is on version 10. During the early 2000s, Adobe integrated Photoshop with Creative Suite, another Adobe product. The combination created the softwares CS series, starting with the programs version 8, also known as Adobe Photoshop CS. Since then, Adobe has released Photoshop CS2 and the beta version of Photoshop CS3. Because of the continuing evolution of software for image manipulation, it is necessary to constantly learn about the new tools and features of the program.
