Finally the Wimbledon Championship has a winner; he has achieved his fourth title in a row. Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal in a brilliant performance in the final of the mens singles, with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (2-7), 6-3 score.
During the game the Swiss star demonstrated a high level of professionalism, fact that made the present crowd of fans to get impressed with such domain.
On the other hand is good to mention that Nadal gave also a great performance and resistance taking the 3rd set on a tie-break to rob Federer the chance of being the first man to win a mens singles title without loosing a set in 30 years.
Federer used his stunning running forehand to win a 2-0 lead making things to get better for him but totally the opposite for Nadal.
Despite of the loss, Nadal responded as a hero to his fans breaking in the opening game of the second set. Now in his finest rampaging form, Nadal kept the champion at full stretch, denying him a chance to get back into the set by saving a break point at 2-1. That apart, Nadal was secure on delivery until time came for him to serve at 5-4 to level the match.
