So many people look at working at home as an ideal situation. It seems as though rolling out of bed in the morning, putting on a pot of coffee and then making their way to the computer seems like it would be perfect.
The reality is that working from home is still work. Working from home isn’t an open invitation to sit on the sofa with a bowl of cereal and morning talk shows. It’s not about getting rich quickly, making thousands working part time.
There are late night commercials that focus on individuals who claim to have made enough money working from home that they were able to buy a new home, with fine print on the bottom of the screen that says results not typical. There are advertisements in the newspaper classifieds that promise you can earn hundreds of dollars stuffing envelops or assembling simple products.
