The Yowie is a more affectionate term for an unidentified hominid that resides in Australia, it is quite similar to the Bigfoot or the Yeti. There is a research center called The Australian Yowie research Center, and its only purpose is to study and research facts about the Australian Yowie. In early times aborigines viewed the Yowie as terrifying to look at, hairy, up to over 2.6 meters in height with strong bodies and powerful arms and legs. They are said to walk upright on two legs with a stooped gait. They were somehow hunched over or at least appeared to be since their heads sunk into their shoulders. They had a pointed skull and thick protruding eyebrow ridges. The feet of the Yowie were much larger than a humans foot and they had an opposable toe.
